New semster begins

I am not sure who all is still posting to their blogs,  but I am finding the blogs quite pacifying., I know that we were supposed to only use these for class, but  I do find these are quite relaxing . I feel like being able to put open thoughts out here really gnerate some thinking skills. I know most of are getting ready to start the next semster , To all of my classmates that are still reading this I hope you will keep in touch and I will see you in this semsters classes

END OF TERm

I know everyone is probably glad to see the end of the term. These 10 weeks go very fast. I wanted to say  I really enjoyed everyones blogs, I think they were well written and very insightful. I still I think I may continue to post to my blog as they are really goos for getting your thoughts out. Good luck to everyone ans I look forward to seeing you in future classes. I am seeking degree in medical transcription. I hope that everyone  succeeds. Good Luck to all my classmates

New Philosphy for Year 2010

I think I can honestly say that everyone make a promise for new year. it is also the same reason that we all decided to enroll in college and try to earn our degrees. At the start of the new year we all make our resolutions to lose weight or quit smoking but 90 % of time we wind out repeating the bad behaviors that we swore to quit. I had a real bad year in 2009. I lost mhy job at beginning of year  I went into a real deep depression. I am almost lost my hubby.becuase of personal reasons I am making a real effort to stick to my resolutions, my biggest one was getting help for my depression, This was also reason I chose my topic for our final paper because it touched me personally . SO the nect time you make those resolutions , try ro set realistic ones. If you really don't plan on losing weight , then don;t make yourself goes through unnecessary things. My resolution this year was to enjoy my family and too hopefully be able to find a job. I can say that this year has started out pretty well , I have made some life changing things and I have come out pretty well so far. keep up the good work , see you all in class

Happy New year!!! Hooray 2010

Everyone I hopw had a safe and happy New Years eve. I don't know about most of you but usually i stay home on New Years Eve. the number of drunk dtiving instances almost triples. I used to be a bartender and believe me I have seen my share of accidents. I also don't think that a DWI is the right way to bring in the new year. I know for most of us the year 2009 brought alot of pain and suffering to alot of people. This year the sad reality set in that I have been laid off for ayear this week. I was watching the news the other day and the nations unmployment rate is still at 10 %. This means 10 % of Americans are still out of work. That is a scary statistic considering we are getting ready to send more of our people to war. I have to say that I so hope 2010 does bring new life to the United States and that the families that are struggling find jobs so American's can regain some  dignity. I also hope the job market opens up so I can find a job. I wish everyone the best of luck and Happy new year!!!! See everyone in seminar.54

Merry Christmas Everyone!!!!

Im wanted to drop in and say hi!!! snd merry Christmas to all/. I have to jump in and say today turned out to be a wonderful holiday!!! We didn't think we would be able to do much for the kids but we were sble to give them a nice christmas. Hubby aslo surprised me with a new computer, I am sOOOOOO  excited. I wil;l be able to keep all my schoolwork on here. My other computer wasn't that old but we decided that I needed one with a faster processor and we gave my oldest son it for Christmas , I had to laugh you would have thought we gave him gold. I was able to do a few things for hubby so I am happy. All hapiness aside though ,. I do have a question is it me or does the holidays bring out the ugly side of some people???  We just found out that my nephew and his new wife are going to welcome a new baby in about 8 months. His wife is also supposed to be shipping out to Iraq in a a few weeks. Well now she won't be going (THANK GOD) but he may have too. I wish them the best.  Anyway my sister in law upon hearing of what I would like to call is their good news, starts in about how she ( my nephews wife) should be court marshalled for getting pregnant instead of serving our country. Ok wait a minute here.....My nephew and his wife are both serving at Fort Hood , Texas, both of them are in the medical field in the army. She is an ER nurse and He is training to be a medic. Both trying to pursue a good career. i think iy is wonderful for celebrating theit love . Anyway instead of being happy she brings this out, Please tell me why people just can't be happy, especially for those women and men serving in the Armed forces, Oh well enjoy break and happy New Year!!!!

Hey everyone I just wanted to say Happy Holidays to all!!!! We are having a time here . We were stuck in the big snowfall that hit the mid Atlantic over the weekend. We got 22 inches of snow here. We haven't had that much snow here since 1996, I think was the last time Maryland saw a snow fall with that much snow. The kids really enjoyed it. My dog didn't like it, when he went to go outside we had to go find him hew sunk in the snow. The kids don;t have school so they are getting a holiday a little earlier, Anyway I hope everyone's family has a good Christmas. I know we will try . I dont know about anyone else but this has been definitely one of those weeks, I know the end of the year is closing and christmas is around the corner we are all trying to get into the festive mood of the holidays. Io seem think that this time of the year brings out some of the worst in people. I had to run to the grocery store for smething easy for dinner, as I was walking in this woman was on her cell phone talking to  someine about a sexually transmitted disease she got from her boyfriend, SHe couldn;t have been any louder when she talked. Now I am sorry but the lasty time I checked the last thing you want to scream out in a a grocery store is that you have a disease I am here looking for dinner not someones personal life. The stores are even worse, There are so many people in there that you almosr feel like you are smashed into a can of sardines. The people in the stores and even the cshiers are all in a bad mood. It really makes you want to say lets get the holiday over with and move on. I am trying very ard to get into the festive mood this year. We decorated the outside with our christmas lights and did the tree over the weekend. We even took the kids to see the Lights on the bay christmas lights. It is a beach near us that puts up an enormous christmas display of light and you  drive through and listen to christmas music. it is very beautiful. I think to make this christmans better though I would love to see a white christmas. We havent had one of those in many years now.
